The Wakefield 10K Road Race has raised a fantastic £119,527.34 for Wakefield Hospice in the 15 years that it has been up and running. The race starts from Thornes Park and follows a route around the town. Also included in the event are two fun runs, 1km long and 3km long around Clarence Park and also a 10k wheelchair race.
